If you're not sure what investments might be right for you, you can get expert advice from one of our plain-speaking experts. Remember, unlike other retail stockbrokers we don't charge extra for the advice we give.

How to sell investments

Selling investments is straightforward too. Our Share Account allows you to sell shares, funds and other investments with dividends from your investments and proceeds from sales automatically added to your balance.

What are the different ways of selling?

When can I start dealing?

Debit card and cheque

You can start dealing immediately if you pay in using your debit card or a cheque. Up to £25,000 is available straightaway, money above this amount will be made available once it has cleared, usually in 3 working days.

CHAPS

You can start dealing once the funds have cleared. Money paid via CHAPS will usually clear on the same day it was transferred.

BACS

You can start dealing once the funds have cleared, this usually takes 3 working days.
